Tsugunaga Momoko: My first human idol! Back then, I got recommendations of Berryz Koubou songs from Touhou fans. I liked Momochi right away, for her cuteness and iconic twin tails. She talked in a extremely high-pitched voice and she would talk about herself in third-person speech (which is less uncommon in japanese, but in her case, it was exaggerated), confidently saying she was the cutest girl ever. She could say Berryz Koubou was the most successful idol group ever, even more than AKB! And you would probably believe it, because she took the role and the character to every single of her bones. As Berryz Koubou aged, her light would never stop shining and she would eventually join Country Girls as their mentor. On top of her gags, she is a very professional and hard-working person. Ishikawa Rika: When i saw Morning Musume for the first time, my heart was deeply in love with Rika. Everything about her is so cute, sexy, ambitious, confident and energetic. She served as a good role model for the younger generations and she took care of the younger girls, scolding them when needed. Way before Michishige, she was the member who had pink as not just her color, but as an expression of herself. She always took the lead, constantly showing up to the camera and trying to make people see her. Her gags, expressions and humour made her one of the most exciting points of Hello Morning and Utaban. I love Rika and I think she was the best idol from the post silver age era. Michishige Sayumi: Sayu joined Morning Musume in a post-golden era environment. Taking Rika as her biggest inspiration, she crafted yet another confident burikko character for the group, but her character was much more egotistic and self-assuring than any other there. Continuously remarking that she was the #1 beauty of Morning Musume (even more than her predecessor, Charmy Ishikawa), using smart-tongue humour and trying her best to make impressions out of her short lines in their songs, Sayu never gave up until she was the leader of Morning Musume. For me, she remains the best leader. She left a strong image in the lives of 9 girls (or if i enlarge this more, all her kouhai in H!P) and teached them the greatness, the history and the love behind being a Morning Musume member, or being an idol. I think she's an incredible entertainer that went on with her character until the end, and i love her for that. Kim Doyoung: I never liked a kpop idol as much as Doyoung. When i found out about him, i thought he was cuter than the usual korean male idol, his features are gentle and thin, but his mouth is big (like kirby). I rapidly clung to him because he's too funny in an awkward way!!! He makes old man jokes and he's constantly expressing how much he doesn't like to try anything that demands physical strength from him. He's the kind of idol that doesn't demand extra attachment to him and he doesn't care about cliché words or if you're going to spend all night voting for him > he thinks it's his responsability to tell fans how education and thriving on your own is important. He's very professional in every job he does and seeing him trying his best to learn new languages, change his singing techniques and that is a positive reminder for me. Much Doyoung content is never the most for me and i'm glad to follow the cutest boy in the world!
